How many faces can a face painter paint per hour?

On average, a face painter can paint approx. 10-12 full faces per hour, however, most established face painters could speed paint, which means they can paint up to 20 faces per hour by offering small designs with less detail. Speed painting designs are mainly created on the side of the eye, the centre of the forehead or the cheekbone. Small designs can be completed between 1-2 minutes as full face designs can take between 4 to 6 minutes (depending on the complexity of the design). This is why most face painters ask their clients approx. how many guests are expected to attend the event?
