Face painter for your charity events

Best ways to fund-raise at your events

We are often contacted by charities to help fundraise at their event. While we are happy to work with charities we are unfortunately not able to donate our time, skills, travel and equipment for free. Instead we can make suggestions how to help raise funds for charity events.

1) Sponsorship & Pay-per-face

How to raise money for your charity with Face painting.

We charge our standard hourly rates for the time that we’re at your event and the costs are covered by your sponsors. Your sponsors can get extra publicity from this. You then charge people at your event to have their face painted and you keep all the money that is collected. You might choose to charge people to have their face painted or you could simply ask for donations to make the face painting more attractive as all money collected will help your charity.

2) Sponsorship & Free face painting

How to attract people to your event.

We charge our standard hourly rates for the time that we’re at your event and the costs are covered by your sponsors. Your sponsors can get extra publicity and you can offer free face painting to people at your event which is always very popular. Free face painting can be very popular indeed – to avoid long queues at larger events it might be worth considering to hire multiple face painters. You should budget for 10-15 faces per hour, per face painter.

3) Pay-per-face

People pay for their face at the event and you receive all the money collected.

We charge our standard hourly rates for the time that we’re at your event. You then charge people at your event for face painting. We can collect the money for you and you then keep all the money we collected for you on the day. A well organised event can easily cover the costs and raise plenty of cash for your charity.

Remember!

If you are not sure how much to charge per face, we can advise you of the current going rate, which is not too low so that;

  1. You raise more for your charity
  2. You do not charge too low a price as that devalues face painting being offered and also can give unrealistic expectation of the fee they would expect to pay if the client wants to book a face painter for another event.

Remember, face painting is always one of if not THE most popular attractions at any event.
